These terms govern your use of Cotta, including the tools for importing supplier listings, generating product drafts, cleaning images, rewriting copy, and preparing listings for ecommerce platforms.
Using Cotta
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use Cotta only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for activity under your account and for reviewing generated drafts before publishing them.
Product drafts and output
Cotta can generate product titles, descriptions, bullets, metadata, image edits, tags, and other listing materials. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your store. You are responsible for checking output before using, publishing, or relying on it.
Supplier and store content
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to import, process, edit, and use supplier URLs, product photos, descriptions, store data, brand presets, and any other content you provide to Cotta.
You remain responsible for your product claims, pricing, availability, compliance, intellectual property rights, advertising claims, and marketplace or platform rules.
Integrations
If you connect Cotta to Shopify or another platform, you authorize Cotta to access and use the connected account as needed to provide the service. You can revoke access through Cotta or the connected platform.
Cotta does not publish products without your approval unless you enable a feature or workflow that expressly does so.
Acceptable use
You may not use Cotta to:
- Violate laws, platform rules, or third-party rights.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the service.
- Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
- Generate deceptive, unsafe, infringing, or illegal product listings.
- Resell, copy, or reverse engineer Cotta except as allowed by law.
Fees
Paid plans, usage limits, trials, renewals, and billing terms are shown at checkout or in the product. You are responsible for applicable taxes and any charges connected to your account.
Availability
We work to keep Cotta reliable, but the service may change, pause, or become unavailable. We may update features, impose limits, or discontinue parts of the service.
Disclaimers
Cotta is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cotta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
Termination
You may stop using Cotta at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that could harm Cotta, customers, partners, or third parties.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of Cotta after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
